Sweet and sour dip

Sweet and sour dip (sauce) is a great addition to baked goods and vegetables as a snack. Mustard will add a characteristic spiciness to the cold sauce, and mango chutney will give a sweet and delicate taste. The recipe is well suited for cooking outdoors (when you have to wait a long time for barbecue, but you would have already eaten something) or as a snack after a movie, for example.

Sweet and sour dip – ingredients

  • Sour milk cheese – 250 g.
  • Cream cheese – 100 g.
  • Milk/sour cream – 4 tbsp. l.
  • Green onions with heads – 3 pcs.
  • Parsley greens – 1/2 bunch.
  • Dijon mustard – 1 tbsp. l.
  • Mango chutney (Indian mango sauce) – 3 tbsp. l.
  • Salt, black pepper.
  • In addition:
  • Cracker – 1 package.
  • Baguette – 1 pc.
  • Vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet pepper) – as desired.

Sweet and sour dip – recipe

Grind sour milk and cream cheese well with a blender.

Wash the green onion and parsley, finely chop.

Mix milk or sour cream with parsley, onion, adding mango sauce and mustard. Salt and pepper to taste.

Mix the cheese mass well and put the dip (sauce) in a deep dish.

Serve sweet and sour dip with crackers, baguette (or other bread products) and vegetables (slices of sweet pepper, cucumber or tomato).
