Today, you and I will prepare a magical, delicious and beautiful cheese cake “Tears of an Angel”. Why such a name and why is it magical? Because after cooking, the cake is covered with beautiful droplets-beads.

Cake “Tears of an angel” – ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • Flour – 1 cup.
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp.
  • Oil – 80
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp.
  • Egg – 1 pcs.
  • For the filling:
  • Cheese – 500 g.
  • Sugar – half a glass.
  • Yolks – 3 pcs.
  • Semolina – 1 tbsp.
  • Sour cream or cream – 100 g.
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 bag.
  • For soufflĂ©:
  • Squirrels – 3 pcs.
  • Sugar – powder – 3 tbsp.

The recipe for the “Tears of an Angel” cake

Let’s start cooking “Tears of an Angel” cake from the base Mix flour with baking powder and chop with a knife with cooled butter. Beat the egg with sugar. Mix everything (flour-butter and egg mixture) and knead the dough well. Ready dough for a cake “Tears of an Angel”, wrap in cling film and put in the fridge for 30 minutes.

And now we will prepare the filling for the cake “Tears of an Angel”. Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth and set aside for now.

When the allotted time has passed, take the dough out of the refrigerator and put it in a detachable round shape, making a side. The thickness of the cake should be approximately 0,5 cm. Put the cheese filling on top. Bake at a temperature of 180 degrees for about 20-30 minutes.

We are preparing the most important thing – souffle for the cake “Tears of an Angel”. Beat the egg whites, gradually adding the powder to form a white, fluffy mixture. If the whites do not mix well, you will not be able to see the desired “tears”.

Take the cake out of the oven and place the souffle on top. Bake a cake “Tears of an Angel” another 10-15 minutes, until golden. The MAIN thing is not to overcook in the oven!

Now turn off the oven, open the door and leave ours in this state “Tears of an Angel” caketo cool down. The soufflĂ© will settle a little, but don’t worry – it’s not a big deal.

After 40 minutes, take the cake out of the oven and let it stand until it cools completely. After an hour and a half, tears will begin to appear. Ideally “Tears of an Angel” cake should stand for 5-6 hours in a closed, turned off oven for cooling, or even all night. Done!
