And today Smakota offers you a wonderful one recipe for tertyukh – potato pie in the oven, whose taste is still remembered by your grandmothers and great-grandmothers who lived in the village, and it will fill you with warm memories of your stay in the rural area.

Tertyukh – potato pie in the oven – ingredients

  • For a 30-40 cm brat:
  • Potatoes – 15 pcs.
  • Onion – 1 pc.
  • Garlic – 4 cloves.
  • Flour – 1 glass (300 ml).
  • Sour cream/fermented milk – 1/2 cup.
  • Egg – 1 pcs.
  • Salt, pepper, oil.

We clean the vegetables and grate them on a food processor or in a hand-held potato masher (after rubbing, you can drain a little juice and starch), then grate the onion and garlic.

Add one beaten egg, sour cream or sour milk and flour. Mix everything well, salt and pepper.

Lubricate the bratvanka with oil and spread the mass.

Bake at a temperature of 220 degrees for up to 1 hour. We check readiness with a match or a toothpick: if the wood is dry, it is baked.

Cut into portions and serve with mushroom or onion sauce.
