Sift flour, mix with dry ingredients, gradually pour in oil and water. We knead the soft dough and put it in a warm place. The dough should double in volume.

Knead the dough a little, roll out the dough with a rolling pin (at least 2 cm thick). Use a glass to squeeze round cotton balls, you can (if desired) squeeze a hole inside with a small vodka glass.

Let the ready donuts rise in a warm place for 15 minutes. Heat oil in a cauldron and fry over medium heat until golden.

Place the dumplings on a napkin to drain excess fat. Generously sprinkle cold dumplings with powdered sugar.

Peel the potatoes, cut them into quarters and cover with water, boil until ready. We do not drain the water from the potatoes, we knead them together with the potatoes until they become a liquid puree. Add salt and sugar to the hot puree.

When the puree cools down to warm (35-37 degrees) add yeast, alcohol and oil. Carefully pour in the flour, knead the dough (the consistency is similar to dumplings).

Form donuts and place them on a floured board. Leave the formed dumplings for 1 hour in a warm place. Fry the dumplings in well-heated oil over medium heat.

We spread the finished dumplings on paper towels to get rid of excess fat. When the dumplings cool down, sprinkle them with powdered sugar.

Add yeast to warm water, leave for a few minutes in a warm place. Sift flour (300 grams) into a deep bowl, add salt, sugar and oil. Pour water with yeast and mix well.

Gradually add the rest of the flour until the dough becomes soft and elastic. Form a ball from the finished dough, put it in a bowl and cover it with cling film. Put the dough in a warm place for an hour. The dough should increase in volume by about two times.

Put the dough on a work surface sprinkled with flour, knead it a little. Form a ball from the dough and divide it into 16 equal pieces. Spread a little jam or jam on each piece (about 0,5 tsp). Pinch the edges and form a neat ball.

Heat the oil and fry the dumplings until golden on medium heat. We put them on a paper napkin so that excess fat comes off.

Sprinkle the cooled dumplings with powdered sugar.
