This year, our gardens produced a lot of tomatoes. The housewives had a lot of fun with various spins. Today we will offer you an original recipe tomatoes for a snack. For this recipe, you should use home-grown tomatoes.

Ingredients for tomatoes for a snack

  • Tomatoes (preferably medium-sized) – 1 kg.
  • Onion – 200 g.
  • Bulgarian pepper – 1 pc.
  • Fresh dill – 1 bunch.
  • Garlic – half a clove.
  • Salt – 50 g.
  • Sugar – 120 g.
  • Vinegar 9% – 100 g.
  • Water – 1 l.

Cooking tomatoes for a snack

  1. Vinegar, sugar, salt, water must be combined in a saucepan, brought to a boil, and then cooled to room temperature.
  2. Wash the tomatoes, cut them crosswise at the tip, pour boiling water over them for 2 minutes, drain the water. After this procedure, the skin must be removed from the tomatoes.
  3. Put finely chopped dill, sweet pepper, cut into half rings or straws, in a fairly spacious container. Cut the onion into half rings.
  4. Add chopped garlic.
  5. Stir. Pour the mixture over the skinless tomatoes.
  6. Pour marinade and put in the refrigerator. After a day, you can remove the sample.
