Tomatoes in Korean

To the winds Asian cuisine Ukrainians have long been used to it. Sushi, rolls, curries, all kinds of soups and noodles. And also a whole set of vegetable snacks: Korean-style carrots, Korean-style cabbage, Korean-style eggplants.

We offer a simple recipe for tomatoes in Korean, which are easy to prepare and will always be an appropriate snack on the table.

Korean tomatoes – ingredients

  • Tomatoes – 8 pcs.
  • Oil – 40 g.
  • Vinegar – 1 tbsp.
  • Salt – 1 tbsp.
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp.
  • Garlic – 3-4 cloves.
  • Dill – 1 bunch.
  • Parsley – 1 bunch.
  • Cilantro – 1 bunch.
  • Basil – 1 bunch.
  • Hot pepper – 1 pc.

Korean tomatoes – cooking recipe

We are refueling. Add oil, vinegar, salt, sugar, garlic, hot pepper (by seeds) and chopped greens to the blender bowl. Do not chop it finely – a blender will do this work for you. In addition, we do not need to make mashed potatoes.

Cut the tomatoes into 4 parts and put them in a container that can be tightly closed with a lid (a plastic bucket made of any food products is good). Put a couple of tablespoons of our dressing on top of each layer of Korean-style tomatoes.

Cover with a lid and put in the refrigerator for 2-2,5 hours. During this time, the tomatoes will give juice.

After 2-2,5 hours, turn the container with tomatoes in the Korean style and leave it in the refrigerator for the same amount of time.

You can eat Korean-style tomatoes in just 4-5 hours. Bon appetit!
