Tomatoes stuffed with tuna

Ingredients for cooking tomatoes stuffed with tuna

  • tomatoes – 5 pcs.
  • canned tuna – 1 can.
  • pine nuts – 1 handful.
  • fresh cilantro – 3 sprigs.
  • feta cheese – 150 g.
  • capers – 2 tbsp.
  • lime – 1/2 pc.
  • green onion – 1 bunch.
  • olive oil – 2 tbsp.

Cooking tomatoes stuffed with tuna:

Wash and dry the tomatoes. Cut off the cap and remove the core along with the seeds and juice.

Prepare the filling: open the tuna and drain the oil. Place in a bowl and mash with a fork.

Chop the green onion, feta cheese and capers and add to the tuna. Mix everything well. Drizzle with lime juice and olive oil. Knead well with a fork.

Dry the pine nuts in a heated pan.

Wash, dry and finely chop the cilantro.

Put the filling in the tomatoes. Sprinkle nuts and cilantro on top.
