Trout baked on the grill

Red-eyed trout is a type of trout. A very unusual fish that tastes like mackerel, but it is not so fatty. Today we will cook trout baked on the grill. We will marinate the fish beforehand in order to further improve the taste.

Ingredients for Grilled Trout

  • Trout – 1 pc.
  • Lemon – 1 slice.
  • Salt – to taste.
  • Mustard – 1 tsp.
  • Black pepper – to taste.
  • Soy sauce – 1 tsp.
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp.

Cooking grilled trout

1. Clean the fish. We clean from the scales. We remove all the entrails and get the milk. We cut off the head. Wash the fish thoroughly. Cut the trout in half.

2. Prepare the marinade. Pour oil, soy sauce, mustard and lemon juice into the container. Salt and pepper the marinade to taste. Mix the marinade thoroughly.

3. Rub the trout with marinade and leave aside for 2 hours.

4. Put the milk that was in the fish in foil and close the edges tightly. Place fish and milk in foil on the grill. Cook the fish on the grill until ready for about 20-30 minutes.

5. Trout baked on a grill is ready.
