Ingredients for making turkey roll with nut filling:

  • turkey fillet – 2,5 kg.
  • smoked bacon – 15 thin slices.
  • ham – 150 g.
  • pine nuts – 1/2 cup
  • Parmesan cheese (grated) – 1/2 cup.
  • cream cheese – 150 g.
  • onion – 1 pcs.
  • butter – 4 tbsp.
  • garlic – 3 cloves.
  • fresh sage – 5 sprigs.
  • green parsley – to taste.
  • white bread – 3 slices.
  • olive oil.
  • salt, ground black pepper – to taste.

Preparation of turkey roll with nut filling:

Cut the bread into slices. Cut off the crust from the slices. Crush the pulp. Melt half of the butter in a pan and fry the crumbs until golden. Pour into a container. In the same pan, fry the pine nuts for 1 minute. Add to the container with the crumbs.

Peel and finely chop the onion. We also cut the ham. Melt the rest of the butter in a pan and fry the onion until soft. Add the ham and fry for 5 minutes.

Finely chop the peeled garlic, sage and parsley. Add to the container with the filling and mix with Parmesan and cream cheese. Salt and pepper to taste.

Cut the fillet in the middle. We open it like a book. Beat lightly. You should get a rectangular piece, 5 mm thick.

Place 5 long pieces of cooking twine on the work surface. Lay the bacon slices crosswise perpendicular to the cooking twine. Place the turkey fillet on top of the bacon. We spread the filling in the middle and wrap the edges of the fillet to the middle. We wrap the roll with bacon and tie it with twine.

Heat a large pan with olive oil and fry the roll on all sides until the bacon turns golden. Wrap the roll tightly in foil and place it on a baking sheet. Put the roll in the oven, heated to 190 ° C. for 30 minutes.
