The recipe for cooking tzhvzhik

  • Beef heart – 150 g.
  • Beef liver – 150 g.
  • Onions – 40 g.
  • Tomatoes – 75 g.
  • Fresh cilantro – 10 g.
  • Basil – 5 g.
  • Paprika – 0,3 g.
  • Butter – a small piece.
  • Salt to taste.

Clean the heart and liver from the films, thinly cut into strips. To make the liver easier to cut, you can freeze it a little in the freezer.

Fry the chopped heart and liver in oil for 2-3 minutes, add onions and fry until golden.

We pour boiling water over the tomato, remove the skin, finely chop it – send it to the pan. Mix, cover with a lid and bring to readiness.

Add cilantro, basil, paprika and salt, mix, cover with a lid, turn off the heat. Leave for 5-10 minutes.

Tzhvzhik is ready. Bon appetit!
