Vanilla-strawberry cupcakes with a hint of lemon

Today we have a very simple and quick to prepare pastry – vanilla-strawberry cupcakes with a hint of lemon. Pieces of strawberries complement the dough very well. The only thing worth paying attention to in such baking is that it should be mixed only by hand, without a mixer, and not for long.

Vanilla-strawberry cupcakes with a hint of lemon – ingredients

  • Dry ingredients:
  • Sugar – ½ cup.
  • Flour – 1,5 cups.
  • Corn starch – ½ cup.
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp.
  • Vanilla sugar – 15 g.
  • A pinch of salt.
  • Liquid ingredients:
  • Milk – 1 glass.
  • Egg – 1 piece.
  • Sour cream – ¼ cup.
  • Oil – ½ cup.
  • Zest – from 1 lemon.
  • Additionally:
  • Strawberries – about a glass.

Vanilla-strawberry cupcakes with a hint of lemon – preparation

Combine dry ingredients in one bowl, all liquid ingredients in another.

We combine liquid and wet components, knead with a spatula by hand. Immediately put the dough in the forms. Place 1-2 chopped strawberries on top of the dough.

We put the cupcakes in an oven heated to 180 degrees and bake for 20-25 minutes. When the cakes have cooled, sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
