Vatryushki with cheese

Today we will bake delicious cakes with you cottage cheese with cheese. Just from the very word “vatrushka” exudes home comfort and warmth.

Of course, you can not bother and buy cottage cheese in the store, but homemade baking is always tastier, healthier and more aromatic. Actually cook dumplings not so difficult.

Vatryushki with cheese – ingredients

  • For the dough:
  • Flour – 400-450 g.
  • Egg – 1 piece.
  • Milk – 1 glass.
  • Salt – ½ tsp.
  • Oil – 50
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp.
  • Dry yeast – 10 g.
  • For the filling:
  • Cheese – 300 g.
  • Eggs (yolks) – 2 pieces.
  • Sugar – 1-2 tbsp.
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 tsp.
  • Sour cream – 2 tbsp.
  • For lubrication:
  • Egg – 1 piece.
  • Milk – 2 tbsp.

Vatryushki with cheese – preparation

Add yeast and 1 tbsp. to warm milk. sugar and warm milk, mix. Leave in a warm place for 10-15 minutes. Melted butter, mix with egg, salt, 1 tbsp. sugar and flour. Add yeast and milk, knead the dough so that it easily separates from your hands.

Leave the dough in a warm place for 1-1,5 hours so that it rises. Knead the dough, lightly pressing on it, set aside for another 25-30 minutes, knead again.

Now we will prepare the filling. We separate the yolks from the proteins. We hide the proteins in the refrigerator, we won’t need them today. Mix the yolks with sour cream and cheese, add sugar and vanilla sugar. Mix well.

We form small balls from the dough (can be the size of a chicken egg). We put them on a baking sheet, greased with oil, and leave them to come up.

Flatten the balls slightly. Dip the bottom of the glass in flour (so that the dough does not stick) and press the center of each ball.

We put the filling in the hole that has formed. We leave the finished vatryushki for another 10 minutes in a warm place.

Mix the egg with milk and grease the cakes. We put the baking sheet with the pancakes in the oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for 30-40 minutes.
