Very tasty fried liver with onions, simple recipe – ingredients

  • For the liver:
  • Chicken or turkey liver – 500 g.
  • Flour – 3 tbsp.
  • Sweet paprika – 1 tsp.
  • Black pepper, ground – 1/3 tsp.
  • Oil – 3-4 tbsp.
  • For onions:
  • Onion – 500 g.
  • Salt – 1 tsp.
  • Oil – 3-4 tbsp.

Clean the onion, cut into thin half rings. Heat the oil in a pan, add the onion, immediately add salt, stir-fry for 3-4 minutes over low heat, cover with a lid and simmer for another 10 minutes.

The onion should be soft, but not brown.

We clean the liver from veins, fat, pierce the liver with a fork several times.

Mix flour with salt, paprika and pepper.

We put a frying pan on the fire, pour oil.

Dip each piece of liver in flour. Lightly shake off excess flour and immediately place the liver on the heated oil.

Fry the liver in batches for 2 minutes on each side. Put the fried pieces in a pan with onions (on top, do not stir). When the whole liver lies on the onion, cover with a lid and simmer for another 2-3 minutes (no more).
