Recipe for puff pastry with sorrel

Let’s start cooking puff pastry with sorrel. Take the yeast dough and roll out both plates in one direction so that the pieces become 2 times longer and remain the same in width. After that, cut each into 10 identical squares.

Now let’s do the greens for puff pastry with sorrel. Wash the sorrel and dry. Now, together with the stems, finely chop it and knead it a little with your hands.

Let’s return to the dough again. Sprinkle the middle of the 10 pieces of dough with breadcrumbs, and then with chopped zest. Spread sorrel on top, sprinkle with sugar, and pour 1/2 tsp of oil. Now cover with the second piece of dough, and seal the edges.

Translate puff pastry with sorrel on 2 baking sheets covered with parchment, at some distance from each other.

Mix honey with a small amount of hot strong tea. Spread the finished mixture on top puff pastry with sorrel. Bake in an oven heated to 180 degrees until golden brown, about 20-25 minutes. Done! Serve puff pastry with sorrel warm or completely chilled.
