Recipe for cooking new potatoes in a pot

  • Mushrooms with marinade:
  • Mushrooms (small) – 1 kg.
  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp.
  • Soy sauce – 2 tbsp.
  • Mustard (with grains) – 1 tsp.
  • Suneli hops – 0,5 tsp.
  • Spices (Provencal herbs) – 0,5 tsp.
  • Potato:
  • Potatoes (young, small) – 1 kg.
  • Spinach – 1 bunch.
  • Chili pepper – 0,5 pieces.
  • Garlic – 3 cloves.
  • Salt.
  • Olive oil – 3 tbsp.

Let’s start by cooking mushrooms. We wash the mushrooms thoroughly and send them to a heated pan, add oil, on the highest heat, while stirring, we evaporate the liquid.

Now let’s deal with potatoes. Since the potatoes are small, you can simplify their cleaning for yourself: pour salt into a bag, put the potatoes there, close the bag and mash the potatoes thoroughly, then wash them well.

Thoroughly wash the spinach, chop it quite roughly and send it to the potatoes, add the garlic passed through a garlic press. Finely chop half of the chili pepper and add to the potatoes and spinach.

During this time, the liquid from the mushrooms has managed to evaporate (we do not fry the mushrooms), add soy sauce, spices and mustard. Mix everything, cover the cauldron with a lid, leave to cool completely.

Mix all the ingredients, add salt and olive oil. We put everything in a large clay pot, cover it with a lid and send it to a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 2 hours. Take the finished potatoes out of the oven, shake them well in a pot.

Our dish is ready. It tastes good with fresh vegetables. Bon appetit!
