Ingredients for cooking zucchini in batter with cheese

  • young zucchini – 4 pcs.
  • natural yogurt – 8 tbsp.
  • eggs – 2 pcs.
  • flour – 6 tbsp.
  • dry greens – 2 tsp.
  • hard (sharp) cheese – 150-200 g.
  • milk – 100 ml.
  • salt, pepper to taste.
  • to prepare the sauce:
  • natural yogurt – 4 tbsp.
  • garlic – 2 cloves.
  • herbs, salt to taste.

Recipe for cooking zucchini in batter

First, prepare the batter: In a special container, beat an egg with salt and add dry herbs. When everything is well mixed, you can gradually add yogurt. Gradually add flour to the mixture. The mixture should have the consistency of thick sour cream. Grate the cheese on a fine grater and also add it to the batter. The batter is ready.

Now let’s start preparing the zucchini: Wash the young zucchini, cut into cubes and salt. When 15 minutes have passed, drain the water and dry our zucchini with napkins. Roll the zucchini in flour.

Heat the pan with oil. Dip zucchini in batter and fry until golden brown on medium heat. Serve ready zucchini with sauce.

The sauce is prepared easily and quickly: wash and chop the greens, squeeze the garlic in a garlic press, combine all the components: yogurt, garlic and greens. Salt to taste. Mix well and serve with zucchini.
